BIO
Chantil entered the medical field as a registered nurse in 1995 working initially in oncology, then later in the cardiac areas of the hospital including the critical care units and the GI lab. Chantil received a master’s degree in nursing and was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2002. She has been practicing in the GI field throughout her career as a nurse practitioner.
She completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2010 and her Juris Doctorate from Purdue University/Concord Law School in 2016 with special electives in health care law. She is now working on a master’s degree in clinical psychology to help better understand the relationship between GI diagnoses and psychological issues to better care for her patients at Gastro One.
Chantil sees GI patients in the clinical setting and is a sub-investigator on Gastro One’s many clinical trials. In addition to these duties, she is the APP Clinical Director at Gastro One with 30 APP direct reports.
Chantil is a huge Harry Potter fan and named her toy poodle after “the greatest wizard of all time,” Albus Dumbledore!
